Dr. Luís Pedro Gomes Costa Paulitos, 43, has been appointed administrator of the University of Lisbon by the Chancellor, Professor António Sampaio da Nóvoa, on a service commission for a period of three years. With this appointment, which begins on the 15th of February 2010, the Management Council for the recently-created University of Lisbon Centre for Common Resources and Shared Services (CRCSP) was fully defined. The Management Council is the CRCSP organ for administrative, financial and human resources management. This public body is the result of the fusion, in 2007, between the API (Portuguese Investment agency) and the ICEP (Portuguese Institute for Foreign Trade), the body for which Luís Pedro Costa Paulitos had been working since 1994. He was the Coordinator of the Economics Policies and Operation Programme Office between 1996 and 2000, where he monitored the internationalization projects promoted by the ICEP. He later became a member of the Direction of International Investment as a Coordinator of the Budget and Monitoring Sector and also the Information and Communication Technologies Client Network (URCTIC).
