Neuropharmacology

By understanding the fundamental processes of neuronalcommunication at a cellular and molecular level,students should be able to identify relevant targets and drugs 1) for correcting dysfunctions in the functioning of the nervous system, 2) for the study of neuronal function and dysfunction, and 3) for a better understanding of the neurobiological basis of cognition.
