Conducting the Admission and Ranking Process
The conduct of the admission process and the ranking of candidates is the responsibility of the jury appointed by the FMUL Scientific Council.
Candidates are ranked in descending order of the Final Classification (FC), rounded to two decimal places.
The Intermediate Classification (IC) is calculated based on the following components:
-
Grade obtained in national secondary education or equivalent international qualification (C);
-
Average grade obtained in the entrance exams (EE), according to point 2.1 of the Notice.
Once the above values are determined, the following formula is applied: IC=(0.5×C)+(0.5×EE)
The three candidates with the highest IC are admitted to the Interview (I). In case of a tie, the date of birth will be used as a tiebreaker, with preference given to the younger candidate.
The interview may be conducted in person or via videoconference and will be evaluated according to the following criteria:
-
Interest and motivation: 30%
-
Communication and critical analysis: 40%
-
Professional knowledge: 30%
After the interview scores are determined, the Final Classification (FC) is calculated using the following formula: FC=(0.7×IC)+(0.3×I)
All grades must be expressed on a 0.00 to 200.00 scale, with conversion applied where necessary.
Admission is only valid if the Final Classification (FC) is 100.00 or higher.
