Responsibilities of the School Council:

a) Elect its president from among the elected Professors and approve its regulations;
b) Organize the election process and elect the Director of FMUL, as well as suspend or dismiss the Director in cases provided for in Article 27;
c) Review the actions of the Director of FMUL and the Management Council;
d) Approve amendments to the Statutes of FMUL and the attached Electoral Regulations;
e) Consider and discuss the fundamental operational issues of FMUL;
f) Perform other functions provided by law, the statutes, or the regulations of the University.

The School Council is also responsible, upon proposal by the Director:

a) Approve the key strategic options for the term and the Director's action plan;
b) Approve the creation of private legal entities, established in accordance with Article 6;
c) Approve the budget and activity plan presented annually by the Director;
d) Approve the annual activity and financial report;
e) Appoint the Internal Evaluation Expert Committee for a period of three years.
