Degree in Nutrition Sciences and Master in Nutrigenomics and Personalized Nutrition. Assistant professor at Lisbon School of Medicine and assistant professor at the Instituto Universitário Egas Moniz. Director of Fresenius Medical Care Portugal's nutrition department since 2012. Co-author of the Manual of Nutrition and Renal Disease (Portuguese Nutrition Association) and of the book Food & Renal Insufficiency - Practical Guide to Nutrition (Fresenius Medical Care ).
Currently undertaking a PhD project at the Faculty of Medicine of Lisbon - Nutrition Branch entitled Dietary patterns, body composition and physical activity: evolution of the health status of patients undergoing hemodialysis. Developed and coordinated research projects in the area of nutrition in chronic kidney disease, assessment of nutritional status and body composition.
