Lisbon School of Medicine is a higher education institution integrated in Universidade de Lisboa and is located in the Santa Maria Hospital Building.
We have a teaching and technical-administrative staff of the highest competence whose mission is to support the student throughout his academic career.
Our training offer focuses on the Degree in Nutrition Sciences (1st Cycle), the Integrated Master Degree in Medicine (2nd Cycle), as well as a wide range of Advance Training in Health and also a set of specialization and retraining courses and workshops about various medical specialties.
We advocate an integrated, student-centered form of teaching, in which we consider early contact with the practice of medicine to be fundamental through internships in hospitals and health centers.
Following our Mission and Values, a consortium was created in 2009 among Lisbon School of Medicine, Centro Hospitalar Universitário de Lisboa Norte EPE and Instituto de Medicina Molecular João Lobo Antunes, called Centro Académico de Medicina de Lisboa (CAML). This consortium aims to promote the development of medical education and the modernization of research practices.
