Objectives

• Acquisition of core knowledge about etiological agents and their effects, susceptibility factors, body responses, pathogenic pathways, pathophysiology of the main system failures, and paradigm diseases.
• Information and participation in demonstrations illustrating how disease mechanisms have been elucidated.
• Development and training, in the context of studying Pathology, of analytical and synthesis skills, the application of inductive and deductive reasoning, scientific communication, and problem-solving based on clinical case histories.
