Quality assurance is a central and fundamental premise in FMUL's strategy, which assumes this commitment through its Quality Policy with a view to fulfilling its objectives and carrying out its mission in an exemplary manner.
The Faculty structured its FMUL’s Internal Quality Assurance System (SIGQ - FMUL), which is reflected in the SIGQ – FMU Manual, published on 27 November 2019. This guiding document describes the way the Faculty conceives and plans, structures and organizes, implements and manages, evaluates and continuously improves its internal system, being a reference document for the FMUL community and relevant stakeholders.
The SIGQ - FMUL concept systematizes and structures the work that has been done in promoting and guaranteeing the quality of the School and was designed based on the References for the Internal Quality Assurance Systems in Higher Education Institutions of the Higher Education Evaluation and Accreditation Agency - A3ES, in line with European standards (ESG 2015).
Following all the work carried out to evaluate and accredit study cycles by the A3ES, the FMUL is continuous developing and improving its SIGQ with a view to submitting a certification request to A3ES.
