The Khwarizmi International Award (KIA), an award attributed by the Iranian Research Organization for Science and Technology, intends to distinguish works in the field of engineering, basic sciences, renewable energies, agriculture, biotechnology and nanotechnology. Applications are open until the 15th of October 2009.
