The 2nd Report on the COVID-19 Impact on FMUL|1st Semester 2020/2021 (2.º Relatório sobre o Impacto COVID-19 na FMUL | 1.º Semestre 2020/2021) presents the consequences of the COVID-19 pandemic (Coronavirus Disease 2019) over time in our Faculty, in organizational and operational terms and in the activities conducted.
Since March 2020, FMUL has been adapting to a new reality, with changes in all its processes, in the forms of work organization, in procedures and in the provision of services. Given this new academic context, there was the need to identify the main impacts of COVID-19 on the Faculty's activities, through relevant indicators in the Faculty's different strategic areas.
This report refers to the 1st semester of the 2020/2021 academic year, corresponding to the period from October 2020 to January 2021. Whenever possible, it included comparative data with the 2nd semester of 2019/2020 (March to September 2020).
In an environment of great uncertainty and despite the various impacts of the pandemic on our Faculty, the effort of the entire FMUL Community, students, lecturers, researchers and administrative staff to maintain and guarantee the pedagogical, scientific and administrative activity of the Faculty is highlighted.
