As President of the Portuguese Medical Schools (CEMP), Professor Fausto J. Pinto was yesterday on TVI24 TV channel.

Invited to analyze the theme of the closure of Schools and Universities, he said that schools should already be closed, because according to his statements: “The later the worse”.

Throughout his analysis, Prof. Fausto J. Pinto recognizes in the Italian reality a bad example to be followed by the Portuguese population and emphasizes the need to grant time to the NHS, which without the proactive support of the population, that is, preventive measures, may not have absorption capacity for a high number of COVID-19 cases.
