Biographical note
Sérgio de Almeida is Assistant Professor com Agregação (portuguese habilitation) at Lisbon School of Medicine and laboratory director at Instituto de Medicina Molecular João Lobo Antunes (iMM).
He graduated in Biochemistry from the Coimbra University in 2002 and completed his PhD in Biomedical Sciences at the University of Porto in 2007. He was a post-doctoral researcher at iMM until 2013.
He is author or co-author of several publications in international journals and coordinates research projects in the area of molecular biology and oncobiology.
