Biographical note

Exercise Physiologist, holds a Ph.D. in Physical Activity and Health (2019) from the Faculty of Human Kinetics (FMH-UL), a Master Degree in Exercise and Health from the FMH-UL (2012) and a Degree in Sport Sciences from the FMH-UL (2010). She also has a postgraduate qualification in Cardiac Rehabilitation since 2012 from FMH-UL.

Rita is currently a Invited Research Assistant at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Lisbon (FMUL) and Exercise Physiologist at the Cardiovascular Rehabilitation Centre of the University of Lisbon (CRECUL).

Rita is a researcher at the Interdisciplinary Centre for the Study of Human Performance (CIPER) and at the Cardiovascular Centre of the University of Lisbon (CCUL).

 

AREAS OF INTEREST: Cardiovascular Disease, Cardiovascular Prevention and Rehabilitation, Exercise Physiology, Exercise Evaluation and Prescription.
