On 8 January, the cycle of talks iMM Horizons: A Question for Three Persons, organised by the iMM João Lobo Antunes of the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Lisbon, in partnership with the Belmiro de Azevedo Foundation, took place once more.

The session was held at the Belmiro de Azevedo Foundation in Porto and was attended by Gabriela Fonseca (the patient), Professors Luís Costa (the doctor) and Bruno Silva-Santos ( the scientist).

The question that arose at this session was "Why does cancer escape us?" and, in the words of Professor Maria Mota, Executive Director of the iMM JLA, this is a crosscutting issue that concerns patients, doctors, scientists and civil society.
