Representing FMUL's Office for Innovation and Entrepreneurship, Dr Sónia Teixeira was invited to give a talk about prospective and its importance in innovation, on 22 November at NERSANT, Santarém Business Association.
NERSANT is an association founded in 1988 that aims to promote the business capacity of the district and to assert itself as its main business association. It is distinguished by the various activities it has been conducting over the years to encourage entrepreneurship and innovation in the region through co-financed projects, training and development of start-ups.

As part of the Nersant Idea Acceleration Programme, where several entrepreneurs are trained to create their start-ups through their project ideas, Dr Sónia Teixeira attended the value proposition development session, where she presented the FMUL's Office for Innovation and Entrepreneurship and its main activities, and stressed the role of forward-looking and megatrend analysis in project development, with particular emphasis on its application in health.
It was a very interesting day where there was room for discussion about how various institutions aimed at entrepreneurship and innovation operate and how we can join efforts and create synergies for a greater culture of innovation in our country.
Thank you NERSANT for the invitation and we wish you much success in all your initiatives and projects.
Sónia Teixeira
