2018 Activity Report
To all the Academic Community of the FMUL,
The strategic action of the FMUL has always been to provide high-quality education, combined with world-class research and a medical practice which relies on the highest level of scientific and technological development. The FMUL sees itself as a modern, innovative and outward-looking institution, with the ability to communicate and strengthen its relationships with the various levels of society in an increasingly global environment.
With the aim of placing the Faculty at a competitive level, both nationally and internationally, we have set several goals for 2018, following the main guidelines of the University of Lisbon. Within the scope of each of the strategic objectives, many activities have been developed, which can be found in detail on the 2018 Activity Report, unanimously approved by the School's Council on 6 May.
All the activities and initiatives were only made possible thanks to the participation and dedication of the professors, researchers, non-teaching staff and students, to whom I hereby express my deepest gratitude.
With the enthusiasm and commitment of all we have pursued our mission and successfully achieved our goals during this year, contributing to the development of a School that honours its past and builds its future!
