March 2019 marks the start of the iMM Corner, the new column of the FMUL Newsletter that intends to bring to the reader news on research, projects and initiatives developed by iMM scientists. We thus seek to further strengthen the links between partner institutions and to disseminate within our community some recently published scientific articles.
In this first edition, we delved into two science stories: the first on the laboratory led by Nuno Morais who through computational analysis of gene expression identified a “fingerprint" of cancer cells in thousands of tumours, revealing its therapeutic potential in the fight against cancer; the second results from a collaboration of the laboratories led by Gonçalo Bernardes and João Barata which shows the developments of new therapies against acute lymphoblastic T-cell leukaemia.

New study develops proof of concept for targeted therapy against acute T-cell lymphoblastic leukaemia
Do not forget to know what resulted from the first cycle of Conversations NeuroSeS, Luísa Lopes and Cláudia Faria.
This is a partnership between the iMM and the FMUL Communication Office.
