The Faculty of Medicine of the University of Lisbon received on the 10th and 11th of January many famous speakers to talk during the New Boarders in Cardiology, from the perspective of CTO (Chronic Total Occlusion).

An event attended by Professor Fausto J. Pinto as chairman, as well as co-chairman, Dr. Pedro Canas da Silva and the director of education Dr. Pedro Pinto Cardoso. This international course brought together around 140 participants and it aimed to gather experiences of some of the most esteemed cardiologists, with views of the youngest professionals that come together now. Clinical discussions about patients, practical clinical cases with the most recent technologies applied were presented with the most innovative and sophisticated forms of cardiovascular intervention.

In February there will be even more news for Cardiology as the 11th Congress of the New Frontiers in Cardiovascular Medicine is set to take place between the 22nd and 24th. Later on, we will be providing more information on this event.
