XII CAML PhD Students’ Meeting - FMUL, may 23rd - 25th
This year the XII CAML PhD Students’ Meeting will be held from 23rd-25th May at Anf.58, Ed. Egas Moniz, FMUL/iMM-JLA and it will include 4 talks from invited speakers.
Dr. Suzana Herculano-Houzel will explain what makes the human brain special (if anything);
Dr. Thomas Pradeu will enlighten on how philosophy can help us decipher biological mechanisms;
Dr. María Blasco studies the role of telomeres and telomerase in cancer and ageing-associated diseases, while
Dr. António Almeida will talk about clinical haematology.
Moreover, there will be a workshop in Time Management given by Dr. Paulo Vieira. PhD students from CAML will present their work and for the first time, we will host international PhD students from Institut Pasteur, France.
