He is 70 years old and has a life full of experiences and memories to tell others. With a solid path built in the area of vascular surgery, he was also Professor at, and Director of the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Lisbon.
A man with deep roots, he soon had a thirst for the world and left for London, where he lived for three years.
He says that "happiness is caused by the occurrence of the right elements" and that these arise from chance - Serendipity - was the title of his last lecture.
