The Association of FML Alumni and the Association of the University of Lisbon Alumni sign a collaboration protocol

The ceremony took place at the Rector’s Office of the University of Lisbon on 19 September and was attended by the presidents of the two Associations, Professor Rafael Ferreira and Professor Vasconcelos Tavares and also by the Protocol Managers, Professor A. Vaz Carneiro on behalf of the AAAFML and Professor J. Martins Silva representing the AAAUL.
This protocol was established due to the importance of the communities of the former students represented by the subscribing Associations and their social relevance, and aims to enhance the academic spirit to better foster the cooperation among alumni.
Immediate objectives include holding an end-of-degree ceremony and expanding the number of associates, facilitating the requirements for registration in each other’s association.
It is also intended to obtain from the Rector’s Office permission for the application for a qualifications certificate to be accompanied by the option of enrollment in AAAUL and AAAFML, and that the benefits granted to one of the parties be extended to the other party. The two Associations expressed their interest in deepening their cooperation in social, humanitarian and cultural projects.
