Between 12 and 15 July, FMUL will host the 11th International Conference on Grief and Bereavement in Contemporary Society.size="10"

This is an event that takes place every three years and counts with the participation of the most credited specialists in the world and associations of bereaved persons.

One of the main objectives is to contribute to the development of a National Mourning Plan.

On 12 July, the Conference will begin with a tribute to Colin Murray Parkes, author of several publications on traumatic mourning and an expert in this area.

The opening lecture will be attended by Professor António Barbosa, among various specialists in the area of mourning - Amy Chow, Maria Helena Franco, Christopher Hall, Robert Neimeyer, and Debbie Kerslake.size="10"
