The first annual scientific meeting of the SynaNet H2020 project, with the theme Neurologic and Psychiatric Disorders: from synapses to networks, was held on 26 and 27 January in the Egas Moniz Building of the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Lisbon (FMUL).
It was attended by 98 participants, including 67 foreigners, from the most prestigious schools, such as the University of Lancaster, the University of Rome la Sapienza and the University of Eastern Finland.
This was a Twinning action, funded by the EU Framework Programme for Research and Innovation H2020, which aims to promote scientific interaction between the four participating institutions. From the University of Lisbon, the participating institution is the Institute of Molecular Medicine, but many of those involved in this project are also FMUL teachers.
