Professor Cláudia Maria Coelho de Faria awarded the Manuel de Mello Scholarship
The Manuel de Mello Scholarship rewards young doctors who conduct clinical research projects within the scope of the Research and Development Units of Portuguese Medical Schools.
In the amount of 12,500 Euros and with annual periodicity, it intends to reward medical research works, with the competition being open to all health professionals.
Professor Cláudia Maria Coelho de Faria, Invited Assistant Professor of the Neurosurgery University Clinic of the Faculty of Medicine of Lisbon, received the Manuel de Mello Scholarship 2016, with her work "Identification of new therapies in the treatment of pilocytic astrocytoma during paediatric age".
