In his newspaper interview with i, the young doctor Francisco Goiana da Silva, recently graduated from the Faculty of Medicine, University of Lisbon, stated that “health needs to be conceptualised as a team effort. Nurses, doctors and other health professionals possess different skills and need to be in harmony so as to provide the best service to patients. I have frequently witnessed a number of shortcomings on this level, even observable abroad.”
