On 27 February, a Protocol was signed between the Northern Lisbon Hospital Centre (CHLN) and the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Lisbon (FMUL) concerning the collaboration of the Mortuary with the Institute of Anatomy in the context of the use of cadavers for teaching and science.

This agreement is intended to regulate the cooperation of the Mortuary of the CHLN regarding the procedures relating to access to cadavers of people who expressed their desire, while alive, to give their bodies to scientific research and teaching, and to transportation from the places where they died to the Institute of Anatomy of FMUL.
