Paula Ravasco, PhD, PI of Ermelinda Camilo’s Unit, was selected based on her expertise in clinical nutrition, and invited to join the Educational and Clinical Practice Committee of the European Society for Clinical Nutrition and Metabolism (ESPEN).

Paula Ravasco will integrate a team of five members that will be responsible for organizing conferences and advanced courses specialized in clinical nutrition and metabolism, educational materials, scientific publishing and guidelines for clinical practice of nutrition.

ESPEN is the organization responsible for the production of clinical practice guidelines to improve the quality of clinical nutrition and metabolism both at a European and a global level.

Paula Ravasco also integrates a panel of 15international experts responsible for writing the new guidelines for clinical nutrition in Oncology to be published in 2014.
