“Impact of Left Atrial Appendage exclusion on the structure and function of Left Atrium and changes in synthesis of the Atrial Natriuretic Peptide”
As part of the Call for Scientific Research and Technological Development Projects of FCT, a FCT scholarship was awarded to the Team researching the project “Impact of Left Atrial Appendage exclusion on the structure and function of Left Atrium and changes in synthesis of the Atrial Natriuretic Peptide”, which is led by cardiopulmonologist Pedro Caeiro Almeida.
The project received funding of € 35.000 and was rated Outstanding. It was awarded in the category “Exploratory Research Projects”.
