FMUL students were awarded prizes at the Forum held to present the projects conducted in 2011/2012 as part of the University of Lisbon/Amadeu Dias Foundation (UL/FAD) Scholarships, which took place on 8 October at the Great Hall of the Rector’s Office.
Tiago Filipe Martins Rodrigues received the prize for best oral presentation with the work “Modulation of Long-Term Depression (LTD) by Brain-Derived Neurotrophic Factor (BDNF) and its interaction with the Adenosine Receptors”
Ana Carolina Lemos Freitas received the prize for best poster with the work titled “Exploring RNA-targeted gene therapy approaches for Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy”.
The main objective of the UL/FAD scholarships is to encourage students in the first cycle of studies to conduct scientific research projects and technological research.
