Ruben Duque do Vale received the award for best poster in the field of neuroscience at the 7th edition of the YES Meeting, held between 14 and 16 September.

The YES Meeting – Young European Scientist Meeting – is an international congress organized by students of the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Porto, which takes place annually and brings together hundreds of biomedical students.

This year, in the neuroscience poster session, the work “LTP paradoxical increase upon ageing is due to NMDA receptor overactivation” presented by Ruben Duque do Vale stood out and he was awarded the first prize.

This was not the first time this student attended the YES Meeting, and he also received a prize at the 5th edition.
