It is a great pleasure to invite you to participate in the XII Meeting of the Portuguese Society for Neuroscience, scheduled for May 26-28, 2011 in Lisbon, at the Instituto de Medicina Molecular. This Meeting will provide a unique forum that brings together the rapidly growing neuroscience community in Portugal.

We hope also to attract to the meeting several young portuguese neuroscientists working abroad. For this purpose, several travel fellowships are available, with the generous support of the SPN.

The 2011 meeting is expected to attract 300 delegates and the different scientific sessions will cover various exciting and emerging fields of neuroscience, with an outstanding line up of speakers. There will be also poster sessions and social events.
We are delighted to announce this year’s plenary sessions will include Michael Hausser, Gillian Bates and José Castro-Lopes.
