University of Lisbon/Caixa Geral de Depósitos Prize Best Final Year Student 2007/2008 and 2008/2009
Under the Regulation for Awarding the University of Lisbon / Caixa Geral de Depósitos Prize, this is awarded to students from the University of Lisbon enrolled in initial training courses under the terms of the Cooperation Protocol celebrated on the 14th of August 2007 between the University of Lisbon and the Caixa Geral de Depósitos S.A.
This prize is awarded annually to the best final year student (best average mark rounded out to decimals) from among all the first degree and integrated masters courses from all the faculties of the University of Lisbon who has finished the course between the 1st of January and the 31st of December of the academic year before the awarding of the prize.
In the case of a tie the following criteria are used successively until a winning candidate is obtained:
- Never having failed any curricular unit;
- Possessing the smallest number of failures in curricular units.
The University of Lisbon / Caixa Geral de Depósitos Prize for the best final year student in the first degree and integrated masters course in each of the faculties has pecuniary value of 750 Euros, is financed by the Caixa Geral de Depósitos, and is paid by the competent services of the Chancellery of the University of Lisbon in a single instalment.
The University of Lisbon / Caixa Geral de Depósitos Prize was awarded to the following students of the Faculty of Medicine:
2007/2008 – Luís António Proença Duarte Madeira
2008/2009 – Vasco Madeira Crispim Romão
