On the 25th of June 2010 the elected Social Organs for the 2010/2011 mandate were sworn in in the premises of the Students’ Association of the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Lisbon.

In the presence of the highest academic entities, representatives of the University of Lisbon and of the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Lisbon, the association leaders who took on these functions re-stated their unconditional commitment and dedication in the full representation of all the students in the dignifying of our Academy.

The collaboration of the AEFML in the ceremonies commemorating the 110 Years of the Faculty and of the University was announced, expressing the intention to offer a statue dedicated to “The Transmission of Knowledge”. Also announced was the holding of a Social Evening for the 100 Years of the FML, to be held on the coming 14th of October on the noble staircase of the entrance hall of the faculty and attended by teachers, non-teaching staff and students.

Finally, some of the students’ concerns were brought up, namely in relation to the alterations of the national selection test, reinforcing the intention to always take students’ opinions into account as central and fundamental elements in our Faculty and for future representatives of our Academy.
