António Velha leaves the post of President of the Student Association of the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Lisbon (AEFML), to make way for João Martins, its new President for the next academic year.

It is not only the medical degree that connects the two colleagues, their homeland is also very familiar to them, as the two future doctors come from Alentejo. They share an opinion, they want to bring to life the best of this experience: people and great friendships.

António is passionate about music and says that this was one of the activities he had to give up as President of the AEFML. He now wants to dedicate himself more to it, without forgetting Medicine.

João Martins has been attending the AEFML since year 1 of the degree and considers that this will now be an asset to embrace the position of President, since he has been closely involved in this association since very early on.
