On 22and of November, at 8:30 pm , in the National Pantheon , the Lisbon Medical Choir joins the Portuguese Catholic University Choir and the ' Hands That Sing ' Project for a Choral Concert that promises an autumnal night warmed by the warmth of music. .
The 'Hands That Sing' Project consists in a deaf choir whose artistic purpose is to express in Portuguese Sign Language certain musical concepts, such as the notion of intensity, polyphony, metric and the formal structure of a musical piece, in addition to the interpretation of poem itself. To this, joins the Choir of the Portuguese Catholic University which has performed several concerts and performances at home and abroad, with the participation of invited soloists and with the accompaniment of Piano and Orchestra, namely performances in the official ceremonies and internal events of UCP, Christmas concerts in churches and business events, organization of choir ateliers, participation in meetings and choir festivals, as well as choral exchanges. Finally, the Lisbon Medical Choir, made up of students and alumni from the two Faculties of Medicine of Lisbon, has already performed in the most varied rooms of the capital since the Aula Magna of the Rectory of the University of Lisbon, Culturgest, Thalia Theater, São Jorge Cinema, Camões Theater and also Tivoli Theater.
