Luísa Figueiredo, senior researcher at Instituto de Medicina Molecular João Lobo Antunes (iMM), was appointed life-long member of the European Molecular Biology Organization (EMBO). This distinction comes in recognition of the scientific research she has developed as well as her outstanding contributions to the sciences.
