1st Advanced Training Course in Specialized Psychotherapeutic Intervention in Grief
This course offers an in-depth understanding of grief in its various manifestations — from normal grief to complicated grief — and explains the features of specialized psychotherapeutic approaches to provide emotional, psychological, and educational support throughout the grieving process.
Objectives
- Evaluate and conceptualize different grief trajectories using the integrative model.
- Understand and apply psychotherapeutic intervention techniques for Prolonged Grief Disorder and associated comorbidities.
- Develop psychotherapeutic intervention skills for grief at the individual, family, and group levels across the lifespan.
Specific Learning Outcomes
This training includes a strong practical and experiential component, featuring case analysis, group dynamics, and role-playing simulations. These activities will help participants develop skills such as diagnosing different grief trajectories and associated comorbidities in children, adolescents, and adults. Participants will also gain knowledge of psychotherapeutic intervention strategies in individual, family, and group modalities.
Target Audience
This course is designed for professionals in Psychology, Psychiatry, Child Psychiatry, and other mental health practitioners with advanced training.
Participants can enroll in the full postgraduate course or take individual modules, as all modules are open to external students.
