This morning, Professor Joaquim Ferreira was in the 90 seconds of Science, where he commented on the association between bipolar disorder and Parkinson's disease. This result was achieved by a medical student, who through a systematic review, was able to demonstrate that patients with bipolar disorder have "a slightly increased risk" of suffering Parkinson's years later.
