Accommodation

The University of Lisbon (ULisboa) has a set of university residences, scattered in various areas of the city and aimed at housing students, teachers and researchers.

In total, 24 University Residences are in operation, 19 for students and 5 for teachers and researchers, with around 1407 beds.

On July 23, 2019, the University of Lisbon inaugurated the Campus da Ajuda Residence with opening date scheduled for the beginning of the 2019-2020 school year. This building has 184 beds spread over 126 single rooms, 24 double rooms, 2 rooms adapted for people with reduced mobility and 4 one-bedroom apartments.

Vacancies allocated to FMUL Students are nominated by SASUL , with preference being given to Students who remain the full school year.

In addition to resorting to private property rental, students may also request the support of the International Relations and Erasmus Office of the University of Lisbon (ULisboa), who may suggest other options of which they are aware.
