It was on 3 December that the extension to the 3rd cycle of the Integrated Master Degree in Medicine at the University of Madeira, accredited by the Higher Education Evaluation and Accreditation Agency, was formalized.
The existing inter-institutional cooperation (FMUL and UMa) thus sees their ties further strengthened, enabling the students’ completion of the 3rd year of the IMM at the University of Madeira.
The event was attended by the Rector of the University of Madeira, Professor José do Carmo, the Regional Secretary for Health and Civil Protection, Dr Pedro Ramos and, on behalf of the University of Lisbon and the Faculty of Medicine, Professor Fausto J. Pinto who, during his speech, reiterated that students entering through the Madeira group benefit from exactly the same programme as students entering the University of Lisbon.
