Start of the Academic Year 2017/2018 at the University of Lisbon
On 20 September, the University of Lisbon welcomed not only all first year students but also its international students.
This celebration took place at the Rector’s Office of the University of Lisbon and coincided with Professor António Cruz Serra’s, the Rector, swearing in. It was attended by the President of the General Council of the University, Dr. Leonor Beleza and by the President of the Republic, Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa.
Professor Isabel Rocha also took office as Vice-rector.
The Sunset Party began at 5 pm with the presence of several artists.
