The Faculty to Help has been collaborating regularly with RE-FOOD of São Domingos de Benfica
This collaboration began in early 2016 with the lunch on Three Kings’ Day and extends to today.
RE-FOOD is an eco-humanitarian movement based 100% on voluntary work and is grounded on three structural pillars:
Use the prepared and unsold food surplus within a local area which, in this case, corresponds to the geographical area of the Parish of São Domingos de Benfica.
Provide food to people with food shortages, within this same area.
Seek to involve the community in the development, operationalization and support of this project.
Currently, RE-FOOD of São Domingos de Benfica supports 20 families, a total of 73 people.
