The David Ferreira GAPIC Award aims to distinguish the best Final Papers/Theses of the Integrated Master Degree in Medicine of the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Lisbon and, accordingly, encourage the practice of scientific research by undergraduate students.
With this award, FMUL honours Professor David Ferreira, who was the mentor of the creation of GAPIC, a pioneering experience in scientific research carried out by undergraduate students.
The David Ferreira GAPIC Award, worth € 1,000.00, will be awarded to the best work, and two honourable mentions will be given to students coming in second and third place, each worth € 500.00.
Recipients: FMUL Integrated Master Degree Students who successfully submitted their theses in the 2016/2017 academic year.
Applications: Open until 30 September 2017.
