Fausto Pinto, Full Professor, Director of FMUL and of the Heart and Vessels Department of the Northern Lisbon Hospital Centre, was honoured at the opening session of the 2017 Portuguese Cardiology Congress, which took place on 22-25 April 2017.
The board of the Portuguese Society of Cardiology paid tribute in order to recognize the contribution made by the Professor in favour of the international affirmation of Portuguese Cardiology.
“I will continue to strive for a cardiology that serves the patients, the interns, the specialists, and the researchers", said Professor Fausto Pinto when receiving the Diploma of Honour from Miguel Mendes, chairman of the Portuguese Society of Cardiology.
