The founding of GAPIC was approved on July 11th 1989, in the Coordination Committee of the Scientific Board, proposed by Professor José David-Ferreira, whose goal was to promote scientific research amongst FMUL’s students.

Since its founding GAPIC has been committed to this mission and, to celebrate its 25th anniversary and the role it has performed throughout the years in promoting scientific education for future doctors, therefore on July 11th, a ceremony, held in the Management and Board Rooms, was organised to the celebrations of GAPIC’S 25 years.
