It is with great pleasure that we congratulate the Research Team of the Project “Myocardial Fibrosis Biomarkers in the early identification of patients with hypertrophic cardiomyopathy” for the funding obtained in the 2013 call for SR&TD Exploratory Projects of FCT.

The team is led by Professor Dulce Brito of the Cardiology I Department of CHLN and consists of the following co-researchers: Professor Hugo Madeira, Dr Mónica Pedro and Dr Doroteia Silva, Dr Gabriel Miltenberger-Miltenyi, Dr Oana Moldovan, Dr Rui Pedro Pires Nunes, and Technician Carina Calisto.

The grant was awarded in the scientific field of Diagnostic, Therapeutics and Public Health – Clinical Research and was proposed by the Association for Research and Development of the Faculty of Medicine (AIDFM).
