9:00 – Tree planting in honour of deceased employees
10:00 – Thanksgiving mass at the chapel of HSM
11:00 – Tribute to employees completing 25 years of service– Aula Magna FMUL
In the celebration of the 59th Anniversary of Santa Maria Hospital, the programme started at 9:00 by evoking the health professionals who died during 2013 with the planting of a tree in their memory by relatives and friends.
The Portuguese Association of Osteogenesis Imperfecta launched the book “Santa broke his leg”, followed by a dance performance by the School LxDance, which also supported the event.
There was mass celebrated in the chapel of Santa Maria Hospital by Monsignor Feytor Pinto, which was broadcast live on RTP1.
At 11:00 the tribute to health professionals working at the institution for 25 years was held at Aula Magna.
The celebrations ended with a social lunch with the participation of the Medical Tuna.
