In the present 16th issue of the Newsletter, we continue our journey through the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Lisbon, in what we believe is an opportunity for us to know it a bit better. In this issue, we present the Psychiatry and Mental Health University Clinic in the headings Auscultar FMUL (Listen out to FMUL) and Reportagem / Perfil (Reporting/Profile). The section Espaço Aberto (Open Space) and others also contain articles and news on Psychiatry and Mental Health, which illustrates well the scope of this topic and how it spans over so many distinct aspects of people’s lives, in a society with characteristics such as ours.
This is the period where new students arrive at the University and reach a decisive and unforgettable stage in their lives. In this issue, we also provide them with relevant information about the teaching and training offered at the University, namely the various courses and training events, as well as scholarships and research projects in the field of medicine.
We believe that this will be, undoubtedly, an issue rich in content. However, because we believe there is always space for improvement, we take the opportunity to remind you that you are most welcome to send us your comments and suggestions, which are vital for us to be able to provide you with an even better Newsletter all our readers can identify with. This applies to our new students as well, given that their involvement is the best way to make us feel we belong.
