António Xavier Prize 2009 - Applications by the 16th of May 2010
The António Xavier Prize 2009, in the value of five thousand Euros, was set up by the BRUKER group in recognition of Professor António Xavier’s tireless commitment to Portuguese scientific development.
For 2009 the prize will be awarded to the best scientific project in the areas of Nuclear Magnetic Resonance, Image through Magnetic Resonance or Electronic Paramagnetic Resonance, the author of which will be 39 years of age or under on the date of the awarding of the prize (12th of July 2010) and is affiliated to a university, research institution or Portuguese company.
Applications should be sent exclusively in electronic format by the 16th of May 2010 to the President of the Jury, Professor Helena Santos (santos@itqb.unl.pt). Applications may be presented in English or Portuguese, should include the candidate’s CV and Project for the competition, which must not be longer than 20,000 characters (with spaces) and should contain a summary, aims of the work and description of the project.
