Given a climate change scenario, what is the health risk? What effects have, for example, extreme hot and cold periods on the health of each of us? What about our pet animals? What strategies and actions can be implemented to promote environmental health?
The Institute of Environmental Health , in partnership with Instituto de Geografia e Ordenamento do Território (IGOT) and Instituto Português do Mar e da Atmosfera (IPMA), organizes the I Workshop on the Impact of Climate Change on Health to answer some of these questions.
Aimed at a broad spectrum of practitioners, this workshop is designed to empower participants with knowledge about the impact of climate change on health.
The registration deadline has been extended to 31 October, but the number of vacancies is about to reach the limit. Apply now!
The workshop will feature an opening table, dedicated to the theme "Quality of Life and Environmental Sustainability", by Filipe Duarte Santos (FCUL) and Luísa Schimdt (ICS-UL).
